General Notice
The Board of Commissioners, Tuscarawas County, Ohio (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the Wilkshire Hills Area Sewer Rehabilitation Project (Project ID #WH-23-01)
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the office of the Clerk of the Board of Tuscarawas County Commissioners located at 125 East High Avenue, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663, until Wdenesday, January 29, 2025 at 10:30 AM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work: Cured-in-Place Pipe Lining, Part Liners, Point Repairs, and other incidental work.
Owner anticipates that the Project’s total bid price will be approximately $586,650.00. The Project has an expected duration of 180 days.
Obtaining the Bidding Documents
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Tuscarawas County Sanitary Engineer, 9944 Wilkshire Boulevard NE, Bolivar, OH 44612
Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office by paying $50.00 for each set. Make checks for Bidding Documents payable to the Tuscarawas County Metropolitan Sewer District. Electronic copies of the Bidding Documents will be made available at no cost.
Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Cost does not include shipping charges. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder’s delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method chosen.
Davis-Bacon Wage Notice
In accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act, all contractors and subcontractors are required to pay laborers and mechanics employed on this project no less than the locally prevailing wages and fringe benefits as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor. The applicable wage determinations are included in the bid documents and must be adhered to throughout the duration of the contract. Contractors are encouraged to review these wage determinations carefully and ensure compliance to avoid any penalties or delays in project execution.
